On our first day of the trip, Dad, Theodore, and me(Nathaniel), visited the Civil War naval museum in Colombus, Georgia. Inside the museum, we saw the remains of the CSS Jackson. The Jackson was a Confederate ironclad that was burned by the Confederates to keep it from being captured.
