Days 11 and 12

On our first day in San Diego, we went to Sea World. Unfortunately, we don't have any pictures of it, so I will go on to day 12.
On day 12, we (everybody) went to our old Church for Mass. After that, Nathaniel, Dad, and I (Theodore) went to see the Aircraft Carrier Midway. Mom and Maryrose didn't want to come with us for some reason.

After that, we joined Mom and Maryrose, who were at the commissary and the exchange, and went to the Speckles Organ Pavilion for a concert. The Pavilion is located in Balboa Park.

<-- Behind that umbrella is the Organ, which has that metal and black stuff in front of it for some reason.
<-- This is us sitting in and on top of the roots of a tree in Balboa Park.
(Eve here - this is a Moreton Bay Fig, a type of banyan tree, native to Australia. It is a strangler fig and starts out life as an epiphyte, relying on the shade of a host canopy tree for germination and early development. When its roots reach the ground, it proceeds in its inexorable growth, and strangles its host. The roots are called buttress roots - when we lived in San Diego 7 to 11 years ago, this tree was a favorite spot with the kids, as they could disappear within the high walls of the roots.)
