Today we arrived at San Antonio after driving 242 miles. We checked in at the gate at 1:43, and by 2:00 we were competely set up.
^ Me(Nathaniel) on the left, and Theodore on the right at our campsite.
We also visited the Alamo and saw people wearing cowboy hats. There are places in the Alamo that people who work there won't go in at night.

How big is the Alamo? It looks kind of small to have such a hold on our national identity. How are you both holding up - have you reached your Dinty Moore/Chef Boyardee limit yet? What kind of local food have you had? You've made great time considering all the stops and sights. I'm so glad you both are writing up what you've been doing. You both write well with slightly different styles and it's fun trying to figure out who's who. Take care, travel safely, and keep writing, please - Olga
ReplyDeleteThe Alamo originially included 6 acres, but now it is only 2 acres, which include the chapel and the barracks. The woman and the children were inside the chapel, and the barracks were where the most difficult fighting took place. We are out of Dinty Moore(Boo hoo), but we still have alot of Chef Boyardee. -Nathaniel
